Your roster
Unclaw ships with a cast of companions, each a distinct person: their own face, voice, personality, and way of holding a conversation. Your roster is the set you’ve made yours.
Switching
Section titled “Switching”The agent switcher (bottom of the window) shows your roster. Tap a portrait to switch: the character walks on with their own look, voice, and memory of your history together.
Each companion is a person, not a skin
Section titled “Each companion is a person, not a skin”- Separate memories. What you’ve told Grace, Grace remembers. Mark doesn’t. Switching companions switches conversational history.
- Separate voices. Each has their own voice across every voice engine: switch engines and Grace still sounds like Grace.
- Separate wardrobes. Outfits, colors, and customization are saved per companion.
Renaming and duplicates
Section titled “Renaming and duplicates”Rename any roster member: the name is instance-level, so you can even keep two of the same character under different names, each with their own memory and wardrobe. Useful for keeping a “work” and an “off-hours” version of the same personality.
Growing the roster
Section titled “Growing the roster”The + button opens the character picker with everyone available:
- The starting cast comes with the app.
- Unlockable characters join for Claws, or all at once with the all-access bundle from unclaw.io. Unlocked characters download on the spot and are yours permanently.
- Custom characters you create from a photo.
- Your roster (and each member’s wardrobe) follows your account: sign in on another machine and it’s there. See Privacy & your data for exactly what syncs.
