Welcome to Unclaw
Unclaw puts a living, breathing 3D companion in a window on your computer (Mac, Windows, or Linux). She listens when you talk, answers with a real voice and a real face (expressions, glances, gestures), and she’s rendered in real time on your own machine, not streamed from a server farm.
A few things make Unclaw different from the chatbots you’ve tried:
- She’s present. Not an avatar picture with a text box, but a film-quality character who smiles when she’s pleased, looks away when she’s thinking, and gasps before she tells you the surprising part.
- She’s yours. Unclaw runs on your machine. You choose the AI that powers her mind, and your conversations go to that provider and nowhere else. Several voice engines run entirely on your machine.
- She’s useful. Reminders in plain language, weather, news, stocks, deep research when you ask for it. All woven into conversation instead of buried in menus.

- Connect an AI provider: a free Groq key works great, a local model keeps everything on your machine, and if you already pay for Claude or ChatGPT you can use those subscriptions directly.
- Say hello. Everything else (characters, voices, outfits) you can explore as you go.
