Custom characters
Unclaw can build a companion from a photo. One clear picture of a face becomes a fully rigged character (speaking, emoting, dressable) with the photo’s identity carried into the sculpt.
Creating one
Section titled “Creating one”- Open the character picker (+) and choose Custom.
- Provide a photo: front-facing, decent light, the face unobstructed.
- Watch the build. The pipeline narrates its findings as it works: what it read from the photo (masculine/feminine presentation, build, hair color, eye color, a hairstyle pick) appears as it’s discovered, so you can see it’s working from your photo, not a generic template.
- A few minutes later your character walks on: sculpted face, matched skin tone, chosen hairstyle, eyes and hair colored from the photo.
What gets read from the photo
Section titled “What gets read from the photo”- Face geometry: the actual likeness, transferred to the character rig.
- Skin: a texture generated to match tone and character.
- Hair: color (matched to natural-hair parameters) and a style chosen from the library to best match the photo.
- Eyes: iris color mapped to the closest natural variant.
- Build: a body-type read that shapes the character.
Everything is adjustable afterward in Customization: the photo read is a starting point, not a verdict.
Skins and re-rolls
Section titled “Skins and re-rolls”Not thrilled with the generated skin texture? Re-roll it: each generation is kept, so you can flip between every skin the character has ever had and pick the keeper.
